SYHealth's Inclusion Council was created to foster a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging across the entire organization, establishing a robust and diverse workforce to help transform communities to achieve health equity for all.

The Inclusion Council has several main goals, including to create a supportive and equitable working environment by promoting inclusive behaviors and fostering belonging attitudes, work to eliminate health disparities by committing to social drivers of health, and conduct organization assessments to identify and interrupt biased or discriminatory behaviors, policies, and practices.
