San Ysidro Health has been providing Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) services for over 30 years and currently has four convenient WIC locations.
WIC is a supplemental nutrition program which provides the following services:
· Nutrition education both on-site and online
· Breastfeeding support and education
· Monthly food benefits for healthy foods
· Referrals to community services
WIC serves the following low-income population:
· Pregnant women
· Postpartum women
· Infants and children up to the age of 5
· Fathers, grandparents, and foster parents of children up to age 5
