Frequently Asked Questions

How does it work?

As a patient, once you have signed up or “opted-in” to the service, San Ysidro Health will send text messages for appointment and other health-related reminders. You will be able to send simple responses to these messages, allowing you to confirm or cancel appointments. You can easily opt out at any time.

Will this cost me any money?

Standard messaging rates will apply for text messages that are sent and received. Contact your cell provider if you need more information.

How do I stop notifications if I don’t want them anymore?
Patients can text STOP to 70531 to opt-out of the notifications. If you accidentally opt-out, you can start notifications again by texting START to 70531.

How can I receive fewer messages?

Patients can log into their MySanYsidroHealth app, go to Profile, and select Communication Preferences to edit their settings (Click HERE for step-by-step instructions). To learn more about MySanYsidroHealth, click here.

If you do not have a MySanYsidroHealth account, you can also ask for help from the patient services representative at your clinic’s front desk during your next visit.
